CTBV

The Centrale Thermique annexed to Belle Vue Sugr Mill burns bagasse during crop time and coal in the intercrop.

It consists of 2 lines of 35.6 MW each, with 2 boilers at 82 bar, 525°C, producing 140 t/h HP steam on bagasse and 130 t/h HP steam on coal.

The Power Plant supplies electricity all year round to the national grid. During the crop it supplies low pressure steam at 1.2 bars and electric power to the factory.
