    B - ACCOMMODATION 

    We recommend that delegates stay at the conference venue, Jupiter’s Hotel & Casino that is located close to the centre of Townsville and a 1 minute walk to the Townsville Entertainment Centre. All tours and social functions requiring transport 
    will depart from this hotel.

    A block of rooms has been reserved for 28 April – 02 May 2008. The special room rate will be available until 31 March or
    until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first, bookings after  that date will be subject to availability.

    The following room rate (includes GST 10% tax) has been negotiated for delegates as well as a discounted breakfast rate:

    If you wish to arrive early, the conference room rate will be honoured starting from the 27 April and depart as late as 05

    Registration – ‘Meet & Greet’ Function
Sunday 27 April

    Registration for the ISSCT Workshop will commence from 5.00pm – 7.00pm at Jupiter’s Hotel and Casino. Upon
    registering you will receive welcome drink vouchers for a casual meet & greet function.

    Field Tour
Monday 28 April

    Tour of the Burdekin region with the opportunity of getting a real insight into growing, milling and research in the
    Australian sugar industry. Lunch and refreshments are included during this tour.

    The ASSCT conference is being held between 29 April and 2 May at the Townsville Entertainment Centre, adjacent to
    the ISSCT Workshop. Delegates are entitled to concessional registration at the ASSCT conference for the 29th and
    30th April 2008.

    F – CANCELLATION & PRIVACY POLICY

 

    The Privacy Act 2001 provides that delegates must consent to their name, organisation and city/country details only
     being distributed to conference delegates and sponsors. If you DO NOT wish for your details to appear in the
     conference delegate list, please indicate this by ticking the box.

     Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the conference secretariat office before
    
Friday 11 April 2008; these will be refunded less 25% to cover administration costs. No registration refunds will be
     made after this date. As an alternative to cancellation, you may transfer the registration to another person without
     incurring any cost penalty – you must send advice to
ISSCT@canegrowers.com.au of the transfer. Special
     circumstances may apply, however ‘no shows’ will be liable for the full registration cost.
(It is recommended that
     individual travellers take out Travel Insurance.)
